Update (Aug 21): Lenovo has now run out and says shipping in over 4 weeks
Lenovo has just launched the S10 and they say it is shipping in 3-5 business days. It was expected to launch in October!!!! Also use USAIDEAPAD15 for a 15% discount bringing the price to the mind 300s – wow!
However be warned that all these only come with 512MB RAM and a 3 cell battery. I’m still waiting to see if these can be upgraded easily. I’ll post here when I have more information!
i search at the page in HK or China, and i find that S10 also got a 1G version, with 160GB hard drive.
The S10 has one socket available in addition to the 512 MB memory soldered on the board. You can get up to 1.5 GB in this way. The 1 GB version may be split half and half. Although I have no definite information to know whether the 1 GB is 512 on board and 512 socketed.
