A little outside the edge of the Niagara falls tourist trap area, close to Rainbow Bridge, lies Niagara Bird Kingdom. It has more species of birds that are easily accessible by camera than I’ve ever seen before along with a few other creatures. In the short time I was there, I spent it quickly clicking as I walked by without paying attention to the names of the birds. The only bad part was that photography was forbidden whenever you interacted with birds – some amount of tourist entrapment is mandatory so close to the falls. At both the other places where I’ve interacted with birds (Virginia Safari Park and Thailand Zoo), I could take pictures to my hearts content of birds interacting with us, feeding from our hands, sitting on our heads etc.
