Finally, I’ve picked up pace enough to potentially get my 100 books done. Ahan kept up his pace in spite of complaining about the length of the Carl Hiaasen books being too long to be counted as one book since we started with the assumption of 200/pages per book.
If you haven’t joined our challenge yet, it is just 8 books a month! You can do it. Adding up our books read last month, Ahan is at 18 books, I’m at 13. Let’s see if we can keep this up for the rest of the year.
In my case, I’ve become slightly more disciplined about “leaving work”, aka shutting the laptop lid, at 5pm and pretending to use my commute time to read. I’ve also been spending a few minutes each morning reading instead of immediately turning on the work laptop.
